Count the eyelet pairs on one shoe. 4–5 pairs usually takes 36"; 6–7 pairs takes 45" on low shoes or 54"–63" on boots; 8–9 pairs on a tall boot takes 63"–72". Between two sizes, choose the longer lace. Each lace page has the full chart.

Order the size that matches your usual shoe size. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller tree — it should hold the shape without stretching the shoe.

Brush after wearing, put cedar shoe trees in while the shoes are still warm, use a shoe horn and rotate pairs so each gets a day to dry. Replace heels before you wear into the sole.

Leather and suede can be stretched gradually with a two-way stretcher: turn until you feel light resistance, add half a turn and leave it for 24–48 hours. Patent and synthetic uppers don't stretch well — bring those to the shop.

Repairs are handled in person at our counter at 6465 E Mockingbird Ln #375 in Dallas, so we can look at the pair with you. The online store sells care supplies and laces.
