Rico Hillside Shoe Services is a family-run cobbler shop at Mockingbird and Abrams in East Dallas. We have been fixing the neighborhood's boots, dress shoes, purses and belts for years — and now we ship the care supplies we use at the bench.
At the counter
Most of what comes across our counter didn't need to be replaced — it needed a new heel, a resole, a stretch or a few stitches. We are proud that the Dallas Observer named us Best Shoe Repair in 2017 and again in 2024, and that neighbors keep bringing us the pairs they care about.
Repairs are done in person, so we can look at the pair with you and tell you straight whether it's worth fixing:

Why we sell supplies online
The best repair is the one you never need. A pair of cedar shoe trees, a horsehair brush and a shoe horn will add years to good leather — so we put the same laces, brushes, trees and stretchers we trust at the bench online, at fair prices, with straight advice on what to use and when.
